    Dating Sites for Younger Folks

I'm 22 and just moved to Dallas, TX. Most dating sites that I've come across seem to be oriented towards having a relationship and getting married. While that is all good and something I may want as I get older, today I'm just looking for a site to find where to meet people my age to hang out with (and frankly have no desire to be hit on by a bunch of 50 year old fossils). Can you help?

    Hi Tracy,

Why is it all these guys in their 40s and 50s think they're Michael Douglas and they actually have a chance at getting in our hearts, much less our pants?

I heard about a new site call CoolIntros.com was being developed to cater to the under 30 crowd exclusely, but I just check and the site isn't up yet.

I think Mingles.com is probably your best bet.  It caters to the under 30, but doesn't limit it.  So you still might get some fat cats in there looking for trophey wifes.

Let me know how it goes.

Dont you hate how all dating sites look alike... Made from a programer with no design thought.  Like a template bought off of ebay, i hate looking at the same front page with a single picture of a couple!   WHY DOES EVERYONE DO THIS????

    http://www.websocials.com
is geared straight towards the 21 - 35 yr old.  Our demographic is younger and socially oriented.  The site has reviews on clubs movies events, plus all the cool features that could possibly be available from any competing site.  PLus there are NO FAKE PROFILES.  If you watch the videos in the extras section, we produce videos of our shows and events to prove how real we are and where our goldmine database of members come from!  These arent just any videos, theyre hype dvd quality reality driven made for tv.

Ken/ Barbie ... I still havent seen a review from you yetSad, lol

Coolintros.com is the only site that I know that is catering to the 29 and under crowd with their Photo Personals site.  22 is a tough age, you're too old for Friendster or MySpace, but to young for eHarmony.com.

Jump over to our Dating Review Page and read some of the reviews we've written to see if anything else comes to mind.

Since you're in Dallas, you might want to check out MyCountryMatch.com for their Country Personals.

    Good luck.

    Ken
