  E-Harmoney is problably the biggest waste of time and money of all the internet personals I have been exposed to. They send out all these matches from people that are not paying members and then when you send a request for communication it requires the other person pay $50.00 for a one month membership to respond. Who would be so crazy or desperate to do that and not even be able to view the photo of the person sending the request. They have these lovely deceiving advertisements from some Doctor and make it seem like it is all glam and roses. I found it to be a total waste of my time and money for the 3-month introductory offer of $50.00. I am sure just as in all matching services that there has been some sucessful matches but all I can say is that I would not recommend it to anyone and I would go so far as to say "just save your money and dont waste your time"

My question to the anonymous writer of the above topic is this: Is E-Harmony the worst matching service on the internet because there is a fee for service? I have always had to pay a fee for service when I used a dating service on the internet. Do you know of any dating service that's free? rk

PlentyOfFish or POF if you're hip, has got to be the biggest waste of time I've ever had on a dating site.  It is full for fake personal ads and children pretending to be adults (but acting like children never the less).

What did my daddy used to always tell me, you get what you pay for!  POF is full of liars, pretenders and broke *** losers who can't afford $25 to find the "so called" one and only.

I totally agree, after all that I got rejected by someone in another state because of the distance. You'd think it was mail order mate service. Doesn't anyone just want to be friends first.
