I submitted multiple requests for customer service online and Chemistry does not provide a web or email based confirmation. Lots of technical errors.
I called today to cancel my service after being renewed for a 3 month term with no notification that I was about to renew. They said they'd refund half my money and take away two months of service (basically, they auto-renewed me for another month). Companies like Chemistry who not only renew automatically with no warning, but fail to provide a fair return policy will not stay in business for the long term if we stand up and demand better service! When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told he was on the phone but that I was welcome to call back. You can bet my next step will not be to call back, but to escalate my complaints instead to executives who may care to know including Jim Safka, Thomas Enraght-Moony, Mandy Ginsberg, and Kristin Kelly.
Chemistry failed to send me any communications since I first started the trial - nothing to tell me about a new feature or service, nothing to remind me to check new matches online, absolutely nothing. So instead of seeing any value with the service, I simply forgot about it until I saw a $99 charge on my bank statement. I can guarantee that I'm not the only one who is dissatisfied with their service.
It's called "customer experience" and it's time Chemistry wakes up and creates a good one. Until that happens, stay away from them.
